Turkey bans Charlie Hebdo cover

A Turkish court Wednesday banned website pages that show the new cover of Charlie Hebdo, the country's semiofficial news agency Anadolu reported. A newspaper that included images of the cover received death threats.

The developments came as Deputy Prime Minister Yalcin Akdogan wrote on Twitter, "Those who are publishing figures referring to our supreme Prophet are those who disregard the sacred." Such a move is "open incitement and provocation," he added.

In order to understand how un-separated  Islam and Turkish law is one has to see the following report that gives a few years old picture on Christianity in Turkey.
Its a sad chapter once one realises that the Turks don't give us what they get by us in Germany Sweden and US etc.  Most Western countries have a large part of Turkish emigrants and it would be
very healthy to serve the following video as a educational reality check on what and how the Turkish society treats Christians and not even mention Jews.

You cant work as a Police or in the Army or as a Turkish Official if you are Christian.
This most of the western politicians who shakes Erdogan's hands doesn't even realise
the sale of religious motives are behind that hand shake.

Imagine if EU would turn the roles and not let any Mosques be built and no Muslim become a police or army officer or work as a EU official etc.For example the majority European nations have Muslims in the local City councils and Parliaments. It would not be any less than how Turkey treats non Muslim Christians or Jews now.

The following film is a must see and a reality check on Turkey.
You decide if its a radical Islamic state or not.

Christians in Turkey 2008...

Last but not least
In 2012, Turkey took the important step of becoming the first country to sign and ratify the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence (commonly known as the Istanbul Convention) and also amended its own legislation to combat domestic violence more effectively. The treaty entered into force on August 1, 2014.

And anyone who looks at Erdogan's speech a some time ago last year where he proudly declared that a woman is less valued than a man....Well taken this at a face value we must assume that the so called European Convention was a sad joke.

Turkish Party spokesman Huseyin Celik declares that while his party was broad and diverse, he personally didn't approve of Christianity or Judaism.

A survey conducted in 2008 by two Turkish scholars as a part of the International Social Survey Program.
It discovered that:

- One third of Turkish Muslims would object to having a Christian as a neighbor.

- More than half believe that Christians should not be allowed to openly express
their religious views in printed publication or in public meetings.

- More than half are opposed to Christians serving in the army, security services, police force, and political parties.

- Just under half believe Christians should not be active in the provision of health services.

Imagine such said anywhere in the west ?
Oops but Turkey is considered West by US Germany UK and Sweden Norway and more …
