Israel: Arab-Israeli man paraglides into Golan Heights to join militant group

This morning SDRs own Haim Barak reported to us that A 23-year-old Arab Israeli man paraglided into Syria from the Golan Heights in order to join some Syrian rebel group.
This was confirmed in the media by IDF Spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Moti Almoz later today to the media.

What actually happened?
On Saturday evening, at approximately 5 p.m., IDF look-outs spotted the para glider hovering from northern Israel into Syria, and alerted the military, which launched a very large-scale search.

"We believe he planned this move to the other side, and joined a group there,"Brig.-Gen. Moti Almoz told reporters during a conference call.
"From the moment we spotted him, a large operational and intelligence search and investigation by the Northern Command, which was joined by the Shin Bet, began," he added.

Haim Barak told us that throughout the night, and this morning large numbers of rumors circulated on social media about events on the northern border....

"It seems, based on SDR´s  understanding of the situation, that the 23-year-old Arab from the Israeli town of Jalulia,  was collected by someone on the other side of the Israeli border,".
Brig.-Gen. Moti Almoz ended his comment with the following: We assume that someone who paraglided in this direction planned to do it."
