Ambassador ret. Yoram Ettinger: Israel’s economy – an island of stability

1. According to a study conducted by the University of Lausanne, Israel is one of the top five world high-tech powers, as indicated by a 2015 $1bn investment, in Israel, by Apple, creating a hardware development center. The USA, China, Russia and India are, actively, soliciting high-tech cooperation with Israel. India and Israel negotiate a free trade zone, which would increase their current $5bn trade balance. Israel is second only to Russia in the exportation of military systems to India (Jerusalem Post, July 24, 2016).

2.  $245mn raised by Israeli companies in July, 2016; $2.9bn raised, so far, in 2016 ($1.7bn in the 2nd quarter and$1.1bn in the 1st quarter). For example, SafeBreach (cyber) raised $15mn from HPDeutsche Telecomm, etc.; Prospera (agricultural tech) raised $7mn from the Silicon Valley-headquartered Bessemer Venture Partners; PowerLinx (business matching) raised $7mn from Dun & Bradstreet, France; and Engie (car maintenance) raised $3.5mn from the San Francisco-based 8Partners, the San Francisco Peninsula-based Motus Ventures. (Globes Business Daily, July 27, 2016), etc..

3.  Israel’s Emefcy raised $24mn from US, Chinese, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australian investors (GE Ventures was one of the initial investors), in order to advance its 44 sewage-recycling projects in the US, Israel, Latin America, Ethiopia and, mostly, in China (Globes, July 26). GuardiCore raised $20mn from Cisco, the London and Israel-based 83North, and the Silicon Valley and Israel-based Battery Ventures. SkyCure raised $16.5mn from the Silicon Valley-based Foundation Capital (Globes, July 20).

4. The Israeli gambling websites giant, 888, is negotiating a merger with the British giant, Rank, in order to acquire the $3.6bn British giant, William Hill (Globes), July 25).

5.  A US-Israel cyber cooperation in the protection of financial payments from malicious hacker attacks – which could result in mega billion dollar catastrophes - was announced in Atlanta, GA. Israeli companies excel in the development of firewalls (Globes, July 3).

6. The following is a sample of vital data featured in Adam Reuter’s (Financial Immunities) and Noga Kainan’s (Company Leaders Forum) “Against all odds – Israel is an Island of success:

*Israel’s economy has expanded by 180% during the past 20 years, while the population (8.4mn) has grown by 45%;

*Israel’s GDP is in excess of $300bn compared to $1.2bn in 1949 and $155bn in 2006, GDP per capita is $35,000 (24th in the world);

*Israel’s foreign exchange reserves reached $90bn, an indication of financial stability, bolstered by a highly diversified, high-quality commercial and defense exports, thus minimizing the impact of global slowdown;

*Israel’s ratio of public debt to GDP is systematically shrinking (64%), unlike most OECD;

*Israel’s unemployment rate is decreasing (5%), while labor force participation rate is expanding (77%);

*Israel is among the only 8 countries launching space satellites, a global co-leader with the US in the areas of research, development, manufacturing and launching mini, small and medium-size space satellites;

*Israel is the world leader in the area of per capita research & development: 140 per 10,000 employees;

*86 Israeli companies are traded on NASDAQ, third following the USA and China.

*About 300 global high-tech giants established research & development centers in Israel, leveraging Israel’s brainpower;

*Israel’s population is the youngest in the OECD – median age 31 (OECD – 42), featuring the highest fertility rate (number of births per woman), including an unprecedented surge in secular fertility.

Church attack in France: Priest killed by two 'IS terrorists'

An 84-year-old priest was killed and four other people taken hostage by two armed men who stormed his church in a suburb of Rouen in northern France.

The two attackers, who said they were from the so-called Islamic State (IS), slit Fr Jacques Hamel's throat during a morning Mass, officials say.
Police later surrounded the church and shot dead both hostage-takers. French media named one of them as Adel K.  One of the hostages is in a critical condition in hospital.

President Francois Hollande, visiting the scene, in Saint Etienne-du-Rouvray, said the attackers had committed a "cowardly assassination" and France would fight IS "by all means".

Pope Francis decried the "pain and horror of this absurd violence".

UK Prime Minister Theresa May branded the attack "sickening" and offered her condolences to the people of France.

One attacker is reported to have been known to French police, and had tried to enter Syria last year.

Police special forces raided a house in the suburb in the aftermath of the attack, and French prosecutors earlier said one person had been arrested.

The attack happened during morning Mass at the historic church, situated in a quiet square of St-Etienne-du-Rouvray.  A nun, who identified herself as Sister Danielle, said she was in the church at the time.

"They forced [Fr Hamel] to his knees. He wanted to defend himself, and that's when the tragedy happened," she told French media.
"They recorded themselves.
They did a sort of sermon around the altar, in Arabic.
It's a horror".
She said she managed to flee as they were preparing to kill him.

Elite police units, specialised in hostage-taking, surrounded the church.

President Hollande said the attackers claimed to be from the self-styled IS before they were killed by police as they came out of the church.
Three of the hostages were freed unharmed, but one remains in a critical condition, said French interior ministry spokesman Pierre-Henri Brandet.

This quiet suburb, a few miles from the cathedral city of Rouen, is quieter than usual after this morning's horrific events. The heavily armed police have set up a large cordon around the church; a row of white tents - presumably for forensics officers - obscures the view. The nearby supermarket is closed and its car park is being used by journalists rather than shoppers.

Locals seem shocked, but not in a dramatic way. A man told me how he had conducted christenings, marriages and funerals for years alongside Father Hamel. He showed me a set of keys - keys for the church.
"When I heard the news of his death, it was like being hit on the head from above.
I just want to go to the church but I can't," he said.

A priest from a neighbouring parish, who also knew Fr Hamel, passed through on his way to conduct his own mass. His message tonight will be that this is not an attack on the Catholic Church, it is merely the latest symbol of French life to be targeted.

And the mood of some here was summed up by a woman cycling past the waiting media, who shouted to no-one in particular: "We will not be afraid."

Within hours of the attack, the IS-linked Amaq news agency, said "two IS soldiers" had carried out the attack. BBC reported the same calling the attackers soldiers which is an insult to real soldiers!  The Muslim Arabic men where not Soldiers of any sort as they where not wearing any uniform with insignia. The Arabs we talk of here are primitive Muslims radical thugs or at best Religious radicals at war with the west!

What does it take and how many shall have to die before the EU leaders admit that we get almost daily attacked by Muslims at war with us Westerners and we are not allowed to even protect our selfs. And whats worse the EU still hides behind some politically correct consensus regardless of the cost of lives!
At some point we all must say enough to the leaders and EU as they neither care for our safety but rather care for the honour of some Arabs who wish to kill us!

Few details are yet known about the attackers, but Mohammed Karabila, a local Muslim leader, told the Associated Press that one of them had been "followed by police for at least a year and a half".
The French ITele website also said one had tried to reach Syria in May 2015 but was turned back at the Turkish border.
According to the report, he then spent nearly a year in prison before being released in March, on condition he wear an electronic tag and move back in with his parents.

"The terrorists will stop at nothing if we don't stop them": Francois Hollande
French MP Christophe Premat says the attack is particularly terrible as a church has been targeted

Residents of St-Etienne-du-Rouvray reacted with shock and sadness to the killing of Fr Hamel, a well known figure in the community.
"My family has lived here for 35 years and we have always known him," said Eulalie Garcia.
"He was someone who was treasured by the community. He was very discreet and didn't like to draw attention to himself."

Pensioner Claude-Albert Seguin told AP: "Everyone knew him very well. He was very loved in the community and a kind man."

President Obama´s Half Brother Votes for Donald Trump Proudly and Publicly

US President Barack Obama's half-brother, Malik Obama, says he will vote for Donald Trump because he "comes across as a straightforward guy".

Mr Malik Obama, a Muslim with Kenyan and US citizenship, also told the media that the Republican presidential nominee's proposal for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the US was "common sense". We at SDR think people should listen to him rather than his half-brother!

Mr Trump's plan, indicated as a security measure, has been condemned by some liberals. However people smart enough not wanting the same destiny as EU goes trough right now have stood firm! After all one should sleep as one makes the bed an German police officer told SDR.

The untold fact:
Its nothing less of an invasion by mainly one religion only who then don’t accept local traditions laws or morale but wishes to impose their own religion and traditions on the local, even if they allegedly have tried to escape it.
After the so called invasion EU has seen a never seen before wave of Muslim Jihadi attacks on civilians in France and Germany mainly.

Mr Malik Obama has accused the president of turning his back on his family.
He told reporters from Newsday programme it was "sort of disappointing, somewhat hypocritical" that no representatives of the Obama family from Kenya were attending the Democratic convention, taking place in Philadelphia.  The president, he said, had "made a big deal about his heritage... and now it's a complete blackout".

Mr Malik Obama, who said he was also voting for Mr Trump in order to shift his allegiance from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party.

The president's half-brother has reportedly lived in Washington since the mid-80s.
He is also an aspiring politician in Kenya, running for office in 2013, but failing in his bid to become governor of Siaya county.

Barack Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father who left when he was two years old.
President Obama visited Kenya for the first time last year since his election in 2009.

Young Israeli woman tourist 'gang-raped' in India

Rape center of tourists has now maybe reached its its own destruction of tourism as a is young Israeli woman has been raped. Its a long Israel tradition for young people to take all their savings after completing the 2 year long army service wish is compulsory for men and women alike, will this now continue ?

In the last ten years the rapes of many western tourists has made the tourism decline in India and that not without reason as traditionally moderate Indian Muslims have awoken and rather openly embraced radical Islam.

Israeli tourism has been a part of the Indian landscape as one of the most dominant visitors to India.
However time has been ticking when India´s supremacist men will also destroy this very lucrative income for India. SDR says this as young Israelis are know to search for places of peace where they can rest after the army services ....and now that is taken away!
Indians might think they can see this under the carpet but the rest of the world wont do that !

It wont take long before India's tourism will look more like the Egyptian one thats missing out almost completely on western tourism after all the attacks on tourist destinations.

The young 25-year-old Israeli woman has been  gang raped in a moving car in India's Himachal Pradesh state. (The Israel hating BBC writes naturally write she was allegedly raped )

The Indian Police said the woman mistook the car for a taxi and boarded it on Sunday morning in the popular town of Manali to go to a neighbouring district.
There were six men in the car and two of them allegedly raped the tourist, police said.

Manali is a popular Himalayan destination among foreigners and domestic tourists.

The woman was trying to reunite with her friends in Keylong when she boarded the car, police said.
Superintendent of Police Padam Chand told the AFP news agency that a search operation had been launched to arrest the accused. "We are examining CCTV footage and hope to nab the culprits.
The Israeli embassy has been informed," Mr Chand said.
SDR feel it must be added that CCTV is almost not to be found around India so the comment can be written off as words thrown at the foreign media who don't know the reality in India.
Sad however is to see that the police is underestimating foreign knowledge of India this much!
Its in the same time a reality check for you if ever intend to visit India.
Another fact is as well that I have been waiting for ambulances in New Delhi where it took the ambulance 2 hours to arrive and as well in some remote parts where there are no ambulance services at all.  Indians in general don't stop if they see a wonder person in order not to be blamed by the police. So don't be surprise if you see someone driven over bleeding on the side of the road while locals walk calmly by , doing absolutely nothing !

No security for women
Manali is frequented by foreigners due to its picturesque valleys, but the security of women remains a concern. An American woman was raped in Manali in 2013 by three men when she boarded a truck.

Scrutiny of sexual violence in India has grown since the 2012 gang rape and murder of a student on a Delhi bus.

The 2012 incident led to protests and new anti-rape laws in India. However, brutal sexual attacks against women and children continue to be reported across the country.
We at SDR however have spend time in India since the 1970s so its hard to fool us with half comments as the truth is that the only demonstrations against rape have taken place as a result of rapes on Indian women alone! No one protest has taken place for any raped tourist ever.
Its easy to confirm by googling Indian rape demonstrations and look at the stories and what trip´greed the protests... We say this as the Indians generally have changed from being one of the most kind and hospitable to something which docent care of you anything except for what you give them.

India would need foreigners to be safe as India still is  a million miles away from their neighbour China when it comes to manufacturing anything meeting western standards.
Thats why we in the west don't see any computers or cars or cameras made in India for sale.

So if India continues this path they will see more closed doors for their own citizens who are flooding the West as they cant find employment locally unless its IT related programming.

Lets not forget about this reacent picture taken in India
as it represents the new Indian Muslim radicalism!

How many innocent children women and men need to die in the name of political correct consensus in EU?

Should all the attacks which have occurred  be able to happen in any civilised EU nation without any Political responsibility ?

While the citizens die in France and in Germany constantly the politicians seem to think they can hide media and opinion forever. Its time that people and reality takes over where the so called politically correct consensus has left us!

After many attacks in France killing masses of people by Muslim so called extremists...

A week of bloody attacks involving migrants has frayed nerves in Germany, which led the way in accepting asylum seekers from Syria.

Its amazing how un-grateful the Arab so called refugees are to Europeans for taking them and feeding them and giving them free health care, housing and money .....We hope this is what the politicians will use as a measure of realism in the future as its all the same all over EU.
We at SDR think think that Brexit is a direct result of this, and as well the indisputable end of the Schengen agreement that is broken by Muslims at will every day...
Thanks to Germany and Sweden open invitations to Syrians/Afghans/Iraqis etc we now see a Europe in dire need of law and orders the crime statistics show a scary fact that the politicians wont be able to hide even if they don't wish to name the origin of the criminal!

The statistics of rape for instance why is no one showing it before and after the invite ?
That's just a very legit question that we think here at SDR .

Germany: New Documents Help to identify ISIS Returnees

It isn't always easy for European authorities to prove that returning jihadists fought for Islamic State. But a new data leak from the terror organization could help. Germany´s  Der SPIEGEL has seen the books kept by IS bureaucrats.

In July 2014, Muhammed H., from the German city of Wuppertal, apparently decided to leave territory under the control of Islamic State after a stay of one month. His decision was duly processed by the IS bureaucracy and his file was updated accordingly.

The terror officials noted both his real name and his nom de guerre ("Ismail al-Almani" or Ismail the German). In addition, the officials noted that H. had served the terror group as a "fighter" and that he was leaving IS territory via the city of Jarabulus; the reason for his return was listed as "family." They returned his passport to him and then he was free to go.
His file, though, stayed behind with IS. For a time, at least.
The word "state" in the terror group's name is no accident: IS seeks to establish a country-like entity and the group's followers dream of a caliphate. A corollary of that desire is the maintenance of an IS bureaucracy that keeps what seem to be halfway decent records. But for supporters of the militia, this urge to play state could have unpleasant consequences. Recently, exit forms such as the one filled out upon the departure of Muhammed H. have been smuggled out of Islamic State territory and have ended up in the hands of German security officials. SPIEGEL and SPIEGEL TV have obtained a significant trove of these explosive records in Arabic. In total, they provide information about some 400 jihadists who have left IS territory, including around 20 Germans.

Many of these IS personnel files specify why jihadists left the group's territory. Most often, family or medical reasons are noted, but other entries sound more ominous. IS bureaucrats wrote "secret mission" on the form of one man who could be German but whose identity hasn't yet been firmly established. "Skills: Murder," the form reads.

The discovery of the files has provided investigators with important evidence. German federal prosecutors are currently pursuing more than 130 cases in connection with the civil wars in Iraq and Syria, with an additional 50 having been referred to state prosecutors. The numbers are unprecedented, but it has been difficult for justice officials to prove wrongdoing. It is, after all, impossible to question witnesses, carry out raids or monitor telephones in the warzones. As such, it is often difficult to obtain evidence that will stand up in a court of law.
But the newly discovered IS files could now help investigators prove that returning jihadists were indeed members of a terrorist organization.

Wife on a Chain
Some of the extremists named in the papers currently remain at large. Security officials are keeping a close eye on them because they are considered dangerous. But it isn't possible to arrest many of them because investigators haven't thus far been able to prove their Islamic State membership. In several instances, including that of Muhammed H., officials didn't even know prior to the discovery of the files if they had really been in Syria and joined Islamic State.
Following his return from jihad, Muhammed H., 20, didn't act as though he sought to avoid attention. In early 2015, he led his wife on a chain through Wuppertal, with one end of the chain around his spouse's wrist, the other, as can be seen on photos in his case file -- affixed to his backpack. His wife was completely veiled.

On a Wednesday in July, reporters from SPIEGEL TV approached Muhammed H. on the street, a muscular man with a beard and a cap. His appearance was reminiscent of those seen on Islamist propaganda videos: arrogant and resolute. When asked if he had been with IS, H. answered brusquely: "You're lying. You are a liar. I don't want anything to do with you." He then walked away.  H. was on the way to visit an apartment he was hoping to rent for himself and his wife,  an affordable three-room place with a kitchen and a bathroom. During his apartment search, he had told other landlords in the town of Ennepetal, just outside Wuppertal, that he and his wife were both on welfare.
In his father's apartment, H. is thought to have established a kind of living-room mosque with other radicals. One senior security official says that H. is extremely well connected and is one of the "key figures in the scene." He says H. is "completely unpredictable."

H. is part of the second generation of the notorious Islamist scene in the Wuppertal region, a scene that once formed around the Salafist group Millatu Ibrahim, which was banned in 2012. The group produced the German-speaking IS propagandists Christian Emde and Mohammed Mahmoud in addition to the formerly Berlin-based rapper Denis Cuspert, now an IS poster boy. The first German to carry out a suicide attack for Islamic State, Robert B., who killed 50 people in the Syrian province of Homs, likewise belonged to the group.

No Incriminating Contacts
Police believe that Muhammed H. could be capable of carrying out an attack at any time and is classified as a so-called "endangerer," denoting someone who could pose a security risk. Federal and state police officials currently list around 500 Islamists in this highest risk category and they are monitored as intensively as possible. Around half of them are currently in Germany.

Last August, H. tried to travel to Syria once again, but federal police stopped him and his wife at the Düsseldorf airport before they could board a flight to Istanbul. Investigators believe that they were planning to make their way to Islamic State-held territory. Wuppertal security officials established a task force to investigate Muhammed H. which they named "Chain" in reference to his walk through Wuppertal with his manacled wife.

H. was kept in investigative custody for a month after his detention, but officials ultimately had to let him go because they were unable to come up with proof that he had really been intending to travel to Syria. His telephone and computer produced no evidence,  no incriminating contacts, messages or chat protocols. He also wasn't found to be in possession of any compromising documents. "He is clever, there is no doubt," says one investigator familiar with the case.

Since then, H., a German of Turkish origin, has been free and has remained so despite the discovery of the Islamic State files. One reason is that officials are currently in the process of determining whether the files are authentic. Terror investigations must meet high legal standards and Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) is carefully examining the IS lists and how they got to Germany. "Much of the data is plausible and consistent with what we know," says BKA head Holger Münch. "That would seem to indicate that the material is authentic." But investigators must prove that the files are real; it's not enough that they look real. Otherwise, the documentation won't hold up in court.

The documents originally came through the black market on the Turkish-Syrian border, a place where antiquities, drugs and oil are secretly brought into Turkey from areas under Islamic State control. Files, too, are among the goods smuggled, and not all of them are authentic.

This spring, a massive IS data leak became apparent. Thousands of digital personnel files found their way from the IS to Turkey and were sold for significant amounts of money to journalists, agents and activists. In some instances, files from different batches were pulled apart, newly packaged and changed. In the process, there were frequent data transfer errors, with names and dates sometimes being changed. That makes the data even more difficult to deal with for German officials.

Additional Information
One informant who is well networked in Syria says that the IS fighter responsible for the data leak wasn't fully aware of the importance of the data he passed along. It was, the informant says, a Syrian rebel who ultimately recognized the value of the files and bought almost 50,000 data files. SPIEGEL received them through an intermediary. Other media outlets, too, have examined elements of the data trove, most of which were entry forms kept by the terror militia. Islamic State didn't just interview foreign volunteers when they left IS territory, but also interrogated them upon arrival in Syria and kept records of their answers.
For security officials, the departure records that have now appeared will likely be of particular significance, because they could provide additional information about who has returned to his home country and when. Of the 800 German Islamists who traveled to Syria and Iraq, for example, around one-third have returned to Germany.

One of those is Lennart M., a married watch-maker who fought for Islamic State. That, at least, is what it says in his IS file. He lives in a neighborhood behind the Hamburg airport, an area that, with its subterranean garages and broad balconies, looks like a showcase for social housing. There is designer garden furniture on his ground-floor terrace.
A social welfare recipient in Germany, M. crossed into Islamic State-held territory in Syria on May 17, 2014, according to the IS files. As a deposit, M. handed over his passport, two iPads and an iPhone. The electronic devices remained behind when he left IS territory again that summer.

SPIEGEL approached M. in Hamburg on a recent Ramadan evening shortly before 8 p.m., about two hours before it was time to break the fast. The 23-year-old M. was walking to the subway. "You're allowed to travel abroad," he said, when confronted with his IS file. "There's nothing wrong with it." He added: "That's a fake."

It is thought that M. became radicalized via contacts in the Hizb-ut-Tahrir movement, a group that emerged out of the Muslim Brotherhood. It has been banned in Germany since 2003, but has continued operating underground and its aim is that of establishing a caliphate.

Names, Nicknames and Nationalities
A veiled woman peaked out from behind the curtains of M.'s apartment, likely his 19-year-old wife Betül. She is known to the authorities because she asked a passerby in Duisburg to borrow his mobile phone two years ago. The man informed the police because something didn't seem right to him about the girl in the veil. Later, her parents lodged a criminal complaint, saying that their daughter was being held against her will, but the complaint went nowhere. Lennart M.'s presumed involvement with the IS terror group has likewise not resulted in his arrest.

IS collected information about those returning home in Word documents. The files now in circulation were compiled between the end of 2013 and spring 2015 and are named after months in the Islamic calendar: Rajab, for example, the seventh month, or Ramadan, the ninth month. Up to 62 Islamists are listed per month, with their names, nicknames and nationalities recorded in various fields, in addition to other information.
The data isn't just of interest to security officials the world over, but also for researchers. A team under the leadership of Bryan Price, at the West Point military academy in the US state of New York, was the first to systematically analyze the Islamic State files. The team examined the IS entry forms of 4,173 foreign fighters that US broadcaster NBC made available to the researchers.

"If we are going to effectively combat our enemies, we must understand them first," says Lieutenant Colonel Price, who is the head of the donation-funded research institute Combating Terrorism Center (CTC). The research team examined the information provided by the jihadists, most of whom traveled to Syria in 2014, upon their arrival in the war zone. They compared their origins, age, education background, religious knowledge and skills.

"The diversity in all areas is of particular interest," says Price. "From teenagers to people in their sixties, from the uneducated to university graduates, there are people from all walks of life." Many in the West, he says, hold the cliché that only frustrated, single men are interested in joining IS. That, though, says Price, is inaccurate. The myth of a state based on Islamist principles, one which also needs educated members, exerts a powerful attraction on educated sympathizers as well, Price says.

Vague Indications
He says that IS also possesses the ability to learn and adapt quickly. In contrast to previous groups, the terror organization has a personnel management system worthy of the name, Price says, adding that IS officials make special note on the forms of exceptional skills or knowledge exhibited by the recruits.

"Especially interesting for IS bureaucrats seem to have been people who had military and hacking experience, in addition to people with visas for Western countries," says Brian Dodwell, an IS specialist at CTC. Indeed, it looks as though Islamic State was already planning attacks by those returning to their homelands at a time when Western security officials still believed such attacks were unlikely in Europe.

Among recruits traveling to IS-held territories from Germany, CTC researchers noted a stark lack of religious knowledge. That likely also holds true of Sinan A., a Turkish German whose name can be found in the IS files. The 27-year-old is currently being tried in Berlin for alleged membership in the terror group Deutsche Taliban Mujahedeen. The group was close to the Taliban and was active on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border several years ago.

Until recently, officials only had vague indications that A. may have made his way at some point in 2014 from Waziristan to Turkey and then onward to Syria. In September 2015, he reported to a German consulate in Turkey and was arrested on Dec. 18 that year after he landed at Tegel Airport in Berlin.

The recently discovered IS document pertaining to Sinan A.'s departure from Islamic State-held territory indicates that he belonged to the militia for two months in the early summer of 2014. IS bureaucrats noted the reason for his departure as "therapy." The entry has proven helpful to investigators, who now have an additional piece of evidence in their attempt to convict A. Whether he sought out therapy upon his return is unclear.

Germany: Syrian asylum seeker blows himself up and injured 12 other people

A failed Syrian asylum seeker who was rejected asylum a year ago has blown himself up and injured 12 other people with a backpack bomb near a festival in the south German town of Ansbach. The horrifying incident occurred at 10.30pm local time at Eugen’s Weinstube in the city’s old town
The state of Bavaria's interior minister said the 27-year-old man had detonated the device after being refused entry to the music festival.
About 2,500 people were evacuated from the venue after the explosion.
Bavaria has been on edge since a knife rampage on a train claimed by so-called Islamic State last Monday.
The Ansbach blast is reported to have happened at about 22:10 (20:10 GMT) outside the Eugens Weinstube bar in the centre of the town, which has a population of 40,000 and is home to a US military base.
The bomb went off close to the entrance to the Ansbach Open music festival.
A witness, Thomas Debinski, reported "panic" after the explosion, although some people had thought it was caused by a gas explosion."Then people came past and said it was a rucksack that had exploded," he told Sky News
Three of the injured were in a serious condition, police said.
Security services have sealed off the city centre AFTER WARDS and experts are trying to establish the kind of explosives the bomber used. (After all he was free to move around for a year after having had his asylum rejected ! )
The Syrian man entered Germany two years ago and had his asylum claim rejected a year ago, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said!  We at SDR ask: What on earth was he doing in Germany if his asylum was rejected?
Answer: He had been given leave to stay temporarily given the situation in his home country and provided with an apartment in Ansbach, Mr Herrmann added.
The minister said he was "incensed" by the attack which, he continued, demonstrated the need to "strengthen controls on those we have living in our country".
Mr Herrmann said the man had been known to have tried to take his own life twice and had spent time in a psychiatric clinic. The fact he had only tried was assumable just to get a visa otherwise there would be a asylum seeker less, as it is not that hard if there is enough of depression we know all to well.....
The most pathetic comment however came from Mr Herrmann: "We don't know if this man planned on suicide or if he had the intention of killing others," he said. While  pointing out that , the bomb in the backpack would have been sufficient to kill and injure many more people. What Mr Herrmann DID NOT COMMENT ON was what the Syrian Muslim did in a Wine Shop of he was thinking of just killing him self!!! Alcohol is according to Islam considered "haram" /prohibited and is one of the very legit targets by many Muslim Muslims who not necessary even are considered extremists, by our unknowing political leaders.
Ansbach deputy police chief Roman Fertinger said there were "indications" that pieces of metal had been added to the explosive device. What many western media don't report is that according to unconfirmed reports claim a man with a rucksack was denied entry to the festival shortly before the explosion ripped through the popular night spot.
Robert Spencer's Jihad Watch reports that the festival it self  is "just three miles away from a US military base"....3 miles is not a small distance so trying to indicate it  would have made a difference if the Syrian would have entered the festival is about as realistic as a UFO landing on the White House ....On top of all fact remains that the bomb cant have been very powerful as it killed only the bomber him self and wounded 12. Indicating that the Syrian man wasn't a very skilled bomb maker.
If someone was intending to do any harm to any military installation of any sort in Germany be it  American or not, he would have to have a very powerful bomb that would have to be delivered past armed security guards.
So this statement is hinting towards the US without reason! All given facts point towards  that the Syrian wanted to kill Germans and Europeans if anything, otherwise he would not have chosen the local little wine shop.

Germany: A Syrian Muslim asylum seeker kills on hacks German Christian Pregnant woman and wound others in machete attack

A Syrian refugee, aged 21, went on a machete rampage in the city Reutlingen, Germany near to a doner kebab stand.  He killed one woman and injured a man and another woman in the attack before being detained by the police. The motive for the attack is unclear but it has been reported he had a dispute with the woman before he killed her

The attack happened in the south western city of Reutlingen near Stuttgart where one woman was killed and another woman and a man were injured before the attacker was arrested by the police.

Officers said that the man was a 21-year-old Syrian refugee who it appeared had a dispute with the woman before killing her.

They added it looked as though the perpetrator was acting alone and that he had no accomplices.

Pictures from the scene appear to show the knifeman lying on the ground with blood on his face.

Armed police officers can be seen pinning him down to the ground before binding his hands behind his back.

It is believed a man passing the incident in a BMW car ran over the man, knocking him to the ground, before he was detained by police.

The asylum-seeking Syrian man had been involved in previous incidents causing injuries to other people, police said.

However strangely… the German spokesman had no immediate information on when the man arrived in Germany, or when the previous incidents took place.

The attack comes as Germany is on edge, following a rampage at a Munich mall this Friday night (22nd July) in which nine people were killed.
And as well an 3rd separate axe attack on a train a week ago that left five wounded.

Far to many Germans are also fearful of any signs of a rise in crime or lawlessness after the country registered some 1 million asylum-seekers last year.
